Mina and Ali met in 2019 and became friends that day. A few months later, they started dating and decided to move in together after a year. They both envisioned a beach wedding with lots of flowers, white and baby blue with natural scenery. Mina was very clear about what she wanted for each event in terms of decoration and scenery. She knew exactly what she liked and didn’t like. She had a vision ever since they chose the resort and was determined to make it a reality. On the other hand, Ali was more focused on the accommodation and the overall look of the venue as he wanted to fulfill Mina’s dream.
The traditional saying “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” is still popular at weddings today. No matter what your wedding theme is, you can find a way to add a touch of blue to your special day. One idea we love is to use blue flowers in wedding themes.
Blue is very versatile and goes well with many different colors. It can be paired with any color scheme, whether you want a vibrant, colorful look or a more calm, neutral one. Blue can be used as an accent color when mixed with bright hues like peach and fuchsia, or it can be the main focus when paired with neutral colors like white, gray, or cream. Navy blue is rich in symbolism, making it a meaningful choice for weddings.
The tradition of wearing “something blue” dates back to the Victorian era, where it was believed to bring good luck and protect against infertility. Blue is also a symbol of love, purity, and fidelity, while navy blue symbolizes trust and stability, all of which are positive signs for a happy and loving marriage.
They wanted a family-friendly resort for their wedding celebration. They enjoy having a lavish, yet cozy evening with their closest friends and family—lavish in the food, wine, and cocktails, but cozy in the setting and choice of company. They discovered the perfect ambience and setting at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa. They invited only 37 of their closest family members and friends to join them for their ceremony and reception on 18 May 2024.
The dinner was planned with a blue color scheme in mind. We chose to incorporate blue into the decorations using a blue table runner, blue chair sash and blue candle. Blue and white wedding receptions always have a fresh and elegant feel.
Mina and Ali had always thought of having such fun entrance vibes and their main goal was everyone could also enjoy their party. That’s why they started opening the dance floor early so everyone can dance and really enjoy the DJ performance and of course they also hire a fire dancer performance to make their wedding felt completed.
