The moment after the first look were just as special. Both Angie and Jay did a traditional Chinese wedding procession. Eating Misoa and Ronde, This ritual usually takes place in the bridal room with both families present. The tradition of eating Ronde begins with the bride and groom feeding each other, then eating it individually, and finally being fed by the parents of the couple. Eating Misoa (noodles) and eggs symbolizes a lasting marriage and the desire to have children soon. On the other hand, eating Ronde is seen as a representation of a forever, close, and inseparable marital bond. The sweet-tasting Ronde sauce symbolizes a joyful married life. This entire tradition holds a significant symbolic meaning for Chinese couples whom getting married, and it also serves as an engaging element that encourages warm interactions between the families.
That evening, Angie and Jay held the reception at Taman Bhagawan, a special private place that shows off the beauty of Indonesian culture mixed with modern style. Hand-carved joglos, detailed buildings, and pretty Balinese statues and fountains are placed among big green lawns and tropical gardens next to the lovely white sands of Nusa Dua.
For their big day, they kept the words “natural” of clear sky and touch of sunset in mind. This color combination is ideal for a wedding held outdoors in a tropical destination wedding such as Bali. The dusty blue adds an elegant touch, while the blush pink and sage green create a romantic and natural atmosphere. The ivory color helps balance out the other colors nicely.
