Cindy and Richard love story began when Cindy’s boss asked her permission to set her up with one of his friends who turns out to be her husband now. It was such a fun yet lovely story when Cindy told me at the beginning how they met, and I clearly saw how grateful she was for her boss to set this meaningful date for her. After their first meeting, Richard couldn’t stop thinking about Cindy. Their love began to grow from that day on and two years later, they got married in Bali, the island where their journey of love began. Tie the knot in chose to have their reception at Bali Beach Glamping, a beautiful resort on Bali’s West Coast with amazing views of the Indian Ocean. The resort offers stunning sights where the ocean and rice fields blend together seamlessly.
Catholics believe that marriage, also called holy matrimony, is a sacred sacrament that includes traditional rituals. Couples who had Catholic wedding may need to provide specific documents, participate in church activities, and complete a marriage preparation program with a priest. Cindy and Richard completed their marriage course in Jakarta, where Cindy traveled every two weeks. Throughout the process, they visited several Catholic churches before deciding on the Cathedral in Denpasar. The couple chose the Cathedral as their wedding venue because it had everything they desired—a timeless, romantic atmosphere that was both chic and stylish.
After all, that’s where you and your partner will finally say “I do”. You have plenty of options, from beautiful seaside locations to trendy, modern venues. However, there is always the classic choice of getting married in a church. Cindy and Richard decided to let the beauty of their Catholic Cathedral shine. They chose simple décor, with a floral gate and altar table. If you’re going for a minimal floral look with greenery and white flowers, consider using oversized planters to make a statement. Two large planters surround the couple, while smaller arrangements on the ground complete the timeless look. Beautiful old buildings don’t need a lot of decoration, but you can still add flowers if you like. If you’ve always wanted a grand entrance, now is the perfect opportunity. Combine large blooms with delicate flowers for a striking church entrance exactly like what Cindy and Richard did for their wedding day.
Right after the ceremony Cindy and Richard went back to Bali Beach Glamping for their wedding reception where timeless elegance meets the breathtaking beauty of the Indian Ocean. Having such an intimate and private reception was always their dream. Surrounded by family and friends who travel from overseas just for them, Cindy and Richard decided to book the resort exclusively for their special day.
Cindy and Richard decided to have a unique ceremony with all white decorations, but for the reception, they chose sweet pastel colors to reflect their love story. The light pink, orange, and other soft shades added a romantic touch to the wedding reception, from the invitations to the decorations. Ohhh…. one more that things that we need to highlight, their bouquet featured pastel flowers, and pf course we suggest wrapping it in a pastel-colored ribbon for an extra romantic touch. Asking bridesmaids to wear pastel dresses is a great way to showcase the wedding colors.
