After getting engaged, one of the first things you do when planning your wedding is deciding on the venue for your special day. It’s important to pick a venue that shows off who you are and what you like. This was exactly what Paula and Nick did. They reached out to us a year before their wedding day. We met them for the first time during a site visit and knew right away that it was going to be an amazing journey. Paula and Nick visited different locations and inspected the sites to help them decide on the layout and details for their event.
They were able to select their preferred backgrounds for photos and ask important questions that could impact the budget and remaining tasks. It was important for them to find a venue where they could host their party until 11 PM without having to move to another space. This was a major consideration for them. After visiting several wedding venues, they agreed that Nusa Dua wedding destinations was an ideal venue for them.
By the time we discuss about their wedding, Paula and Nick already had a vision for the decoration where we could consider that they are a free-spirited person who enjoys organic colors, natural materials, dried flowers, and a laid-back atmosphere. That’s the big reason why our team created a boho wedding theme for them. Bohemian weddings remain a popular trend in the world of weddings, thanks to their earthy and ethereal vibes. Inspired by the fashion of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, boho weddings are all about embracing an unconventional and artistic style. With earthy tones like beige, ivory, green, and blush as the main colors, boho weddings are ideal for beach settings, making them a great fit for a beach wedding at Nusa Dua Beach Hotel and Spa.
There are countless ways to achieve the bohemian look. Create a dreamy, whimsical atmosphere by using natural elements like light wood and dried flowers such as pampas grass and palm leaves. Even though palm leaves are usually seen as decorations for tropical weddings, when dried, they add a textured, sculptural touch that is perfect for a boho wedding. Another popular choice for boho weddings is pampas grass. These plants have long stems and feathery tips that match the flowing style of bohemian decor.
Another best decision that Paula and Nick made was having a wedding during July which consider summertime in Bali. They chose this month because of a lower chance of rain, making it perfect for their Bali wedding. Despite the heat of a summer wedding, Paula and Nick made sure to offer their guests ways to stay cool and protected from the sun. They provided parasols and hand fans for their guests to use during the ceremony.
Having a beach wedding venue makes everything possible. Imagine dancing barefoot under the stars, feeling the sand between your toes, and hearing the rhythmic sound of the waves. Celebrating your love in this way is truly special especially when Tropical vibes go hand in hand with boho weddings, thanks to the natural colors and materials they both feature.
